Purity Class

Leader: Evangelist Tiffany Kemp

The Purity Class is a dedicated youth auxiliary within the Women’s Department of the Church of God in Christ (COGIC). Established in 1926 by Mother C.J. Johnson, its mission is to mentor youth and young adults by instilling strong morals, biblical principles, and Christian virtues while guiding them through various stages of life.

The primary goal of the Purity Class is to help youth maintain a holy, consecrated lifestyle and discourage behaviors that violate traditional Christian worship.

The program emphasizes:

  • Moral Excellence: Encouraging modesty, integrity, and good social graces.
  • Spiritual Development: Teaching youth how to cultivate a clean heart and mind.
  • Life Guidance: Providing mentorship to safeguard youth destinies and equip them to lead with dignity.

Through the Purity Class, puritans (ages 13-19) will have the opportunity to learn social graces, courtesy, manners, money management and practical reactions to life's experiences.
